Grappling, Grudges, and Gold – Live pro wrestling to make an impact in Spencer, WV November 9th

By: Route 33 Wrestling, LLC.

Spencer, WV – Wrestling fans across the state are gearing up for Route 33 Wrestling’s highly anticipated event on Saturday, November 9th, set to take place at the Armory on Main Street in Spencer, WV. As the bi-monthly promotion closes in on its final two shows of 2024, the stakes have never been higher.

The night will see the culmination of a year-long feud between former tag team partners, The Jagermeister and DragonHeart Jim Finley. Once known as the formidable duo DragonMeister, their partnership came to a shocking end last November when Jagermeister blindsided Finley during a match, aligning himself with rivals Hero Napier and Michael Anthony of Dumb Ways to Die.

“This is one of the most emotionally charged rivalries we’ve seen,” said The Boss Lady, owner and director of Route 33 Wrestling. “Jager and Dragon haven’t seen each other since the incident last November, but you can feel the tension between them. I’m honestly a little nervous to see what happens when they enter in the ring.”

In addition to the grudge match, Dumb Ways to Die will defend their Tag Team Championship—a title they secured thanks to Jagermeister’s betrayal—against Grappling, Inc., featuring Brox Boulder and Titan Troy of Ironton, OH. The night’s lineup also includes Gorgeous Morgan Taylor making his third defense of the Open Weight Championship against former champion Gary Gandy, who faced Kevin Owens on WWE’s SmackDown in 2017.

The family-friendly event will offer concessions, vendor tables, and chances for fans to meet their favorite wrestlers through photo and autograph opportunities.

November 9th tickets are available at a discount via Route 33 Wrestling’s Facebook page and at Smoker Friendly on Ripley Road. Doors open at 6 pm, with the first match kicking off at 7 pm sharp.

Looking ahead, Route 33 Wrestling will close out the year with its final event on Saturday, December 7th, also at the Armory. Fans attending the November 9th show can get an early jump on discount tickets for the December event, available exclusively at the venue that night.
