On April 18th, 2024 pursuant to a search warrant, the residence of Levi Harris on Spring Run Road, Arnoldsburg, WV was searched. It was during that search that Deputy C.R. Stephens located and photographed numerous drug paraphernalia items including: items that were used for the administration of methamphetamine and marijuana. Also located within the residence were two handguns, a S&W .38 special and a Taurus Judge as well as a prescription bottle bearing the name of Levi Harris.
Because of Deputy Stephens personal knowledge of Levi Harris as a habitual drug user the firearms were seized. When the officer returned to his office he confirmed that Harris had recently been charged with drug related offenses on September 5th, 2023 in Wood County. Harris was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance related to methamphetamine and THC in case number 23-M54M-02952 in Wood County which was completed with a guilty plea to one count on October 24, 2023.
An additional case was filed in Roane County charging Levi Harris with Possession of Methamphetamine in case 23M44M00281.
Harris was arrested in Calhoun County for two counts of possession of firearms by a prohibited person and transported to the West Virginia Central Regional Jail. He is being held with out bond in Calhoun to await trial as well as being held for charges in Roane, Wirt, and Jackson.
