Chadwick Hayden Hughes appeared before Judge Anita Ashley via telecom in the Calhoun County Circuit court on Thursday, April 6, 2023 for his initial appearance. In May of 2021 Hughes was indicted in Calhoun Circuit Court on the charge of Domestic Battery 3rd offense, a felony offense which if convicted could mean 1-5 years in prison and/or a fine up to $2,500.
His attorney, Daniel Minardi appeared in person on his behalf. Hughes is set to enter his plea on Thursday April 13th before Judge Ashley. He is currently being held in the West Virginia Central Regional Jail on a $215,000 bond. Hughes had been on the turn for two years but was recently picked up in Marietta, Ohio.
