Civil Air Patrol will accept bids in writing, directed to Lt Col Thomas Morris, 112 Airport Road, Charleston, West Virginia, 25311, and must be postmarked no later than January 26, 2024. Late bids will not be accepted.
All bids must include full name, address, telephone number, email address, and bid amount written in numerals and written out in words. “Vehicle Bid” should be clearly marked on the outside of the bid envelope. Bid opening will be conducted publicly on Saturday, February 3, 2024, at 10:00 a.m.
The winning bidder will be notified by telephone and email and must provide full payment by 1:00 p.m. on Friday, February 16, 2024. Payments will be made by cash or certified cashier’s check made payable to Civil Air Patrol. Failure to satisfy the bid will forfeit the sale and the vehicle may be sold to the next highest bidder.
Civil Air Patrol reserves the right to refuse any offer.
