In the National History Day’s National Competition Award ceremony held today, Jaelyn Jett was announced as having the top project in West Virginia.
National History Day, is a year-long educational program that encourages students to explore local, state, national, and world history. After selecting her historical topic on Eleanor Roosevelt, Jaelyn conducted extensive research, analyzed and interpreted her findings, drew conclusions about her topics’ significance in history, and created her final project that presented her work. She choice to do a performance to depict the emotions and courage of Eleanor Roosevelt. Jaelyn has now won this award more then any other student in West Virginia.
