Afternoon update on Jerry Jones: According to Jerry’s Wife they have reduced his medication and he is reacting in the ”right” way. A recent CT Scan did not show any new swelling or pressure which his physician was very pleased with. Making it through the surgery in such serious condition was good, but they anticipate the possibility of a future battle with infection due to the nature of the accident. Please continue to pray for Jerry and his family and specifically for the infection not to be an issue.
A lawnmower incident at Chloe, West Virginia yesterday, severely injured Jerry Jones. In an update from his wife she stated the following:
Just to update everyone on Jerry, he made it through surgery but is still critical at this time. He was mowing the hill bank and wrecked the riding lawnmower it cut his head severely and a portion of his skull was also taken off so they are concerned of the brain getting infected because of the dirty grass and such. They cleaned and flushed his brain and closed what they could and actually said they cleaned and are freezing the skull to hopefully close when they are able too. Please continue to pray that he progresses forward and nothing gets infected. He is not moving his right side but they will not know what effect this will have at this time. We got to get through these next days and go uphill so Please Pray!
