Judge Tatterson Holds Wednesday Circuit Court

Judge Richard C. Tatterson convened Circuit Court in Calhoun County, WV on Wednesday, March 26th, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. Three felony cases were scheduled for pretrial, each of which were continued. 

In the case of State of WV vs. Jacob Lee Hite, 24F21, represented by Defense Attorney Keisha May, who informed the judge that Mr. Hite was facing similar charges in Ritchie County, and they believed that a plea agreement would be worked out between Ritchie County and Calhoun’s Prosecutor Michael Hicks. Trial date is set for April 22nd 2025. 

In the case of State of WV vs. Timothy Tallhammer, 25F4, also represented by Keisha May, Attorney, Ms. May informed Judge Tatterson that she believes that they can combine and reach a plea agreement with the 2025 case, in conjunction with a pending 2023 case. Judge Tatterson said that he had reviewed the motion to reduce sentence and was likely to deny it. The case was continued for Trial on April 22nd, 2025 at 9 a.m. 

In Case 25F5, State of WV vs. Justin Bordas who appeared in Court via teams, as well as his Attorney John Belonovich was continued for a second pretrial on May 27th, 2025 at 10:15 a.m. Mr. Bordas is facing charges in Federal Court which may have bearing on the charges filed in Calhoun County.
