Karen Hardway, 66, of Bluefield passed away on Monday, October 13, 2025 at her residence. Born October 13, 1959 in Medina, OH she was the daughter of the late Hugh Boatright and Mary Davis Boatright. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth Boatright and GlenGodfrey. Karen was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by one daughter, Misty Burkhalter of Bluefield, WV; one son, David Burkhalter of Florida; two grandchildren, Izaiah Barrett and Ashlyn Johnson; two sisters, Donna Richards of Beckley, WV, Patricia Radatz of Bluefield, WV; two brothers, Jeffrey Boatright of Graham, WA, and Michael Boatright of Snohomish, WA. In keeping with Karen’s wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no services at this time.
