Karen Joan Boatright, 66, of Spencer, WV, passed away August 12, 2024, at Miletree Center, Spencer, WV, after fighting brain cancer.
She was born October 18, 1957, to the late Blaine and Elsie’sGreta Gainer Marks. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother Gary Marks.
Surviving are her loving son Daniel and daughter-in-law Anne, sister Lola Clark and husband Jack, sister-in-law Jonalene Marks, three nephews and one niece.
Karen was a member of First Baptist Church of Spencer. She loved painting and music.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Friday, August 16, 2024, at St. Paul Cemetery, off of Pine Creek Rd., near Mt Zion, with Pastor Mark Wood, officiating.
