Karen Sue Workman, 56, of Rosedale, WV, passed away on July 10, 2024, at her home with her husband by her side.
She was born in Grantsville, WV, on July 13, 1967, a daughter of the late Audrey Loretta Stallman Yeager and James William Jones. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter Sarah Allison workman.
Surviving is her husband of 24 years, Randy Allen workman, sister Carol Ann Blosser of Grantsville, WV, daughter Kayla Nicole Workman (Trey Hendricks) of Sutton, WV, daughter Melissa Ann Workman (Jesse Pasqualucci) of Barberton, OH, nephew James Michael Jones of Grantsville, WV, grandson Anthony Michael Daugherty and granddaughter Gianna Elizabeth Pasqualucci of Barberton, OH, and an unborn granddaughter on the way. Also surviving are numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Karen was a very outdoorsy person. She loved summertime. In her younger years, she did lots of fishing and hunting, especially with her husband by her side. She also loved tending to her garden, swimming, and enjoying a cold beer or mixed drink. She lived life to the fullest through simple pleasures and was a loving soul who found great joy in serving her family. She spent time in the kitchen preparing meals because she had a passion for caring for those she loved. Her husband, daughter, and sister were her best friends and loving them is what brought her peace. Karen was such a kind loving soul that will be missed dearly by her loved ones.
A funeral service was held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV, on Sunday, July 14, 2024, at 4:00 p.m., with Rev. Rick Metheney officiating.
