
Kimberly Diane Heater, 63 of Glenville, WV; (Baldwin Community) departed this earthly life in the afternoon hours of Sunday, May 11, 2025 at the WVU United Hospital Center in Bridgeport, WV; following a sudden illness.
She was born August 17, 1961 in Elyria, OH; daughter of the late John Rowh and Betty (Demastus) Hochadel.
Kim is a graduate of Gilmer County High School, class of 1979. She is a former employee of the Gilmer County Department of Highways, former EMT in Gilmer County, and retired as a dispatcher for the Gilmer/Lewis 911 Center in Weston, WV; with 20 years’ experience.
Kim is a Christian by faith and in her spare time, enjoyed working with crafts, cooking, running around with her husband, Johnie, spoiling her grandbabies whenever possible, and spending time with family and friends.
Kim loved caring for her family and was always the one who took care of everything. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her, but especially her loving family.
On November 28, 1980 Kim was united in marriage to Johnie Heater, who survives at their Baldwin home.
Surviving are 2 sons, Travis Heater and wife Megan of Weston, WV; and Trevor Heater and companion Jessica Bailey of Baldwin, and 4 siblings, Mike Rowh and wife Linda of Parkersburg, WV; Cindy Carter and husband Charles of Cleveland, OH; Mary Kelley of Rancho Cordova, CA; and John Rowh of Fargo, ND.
Also surviving are 3 grandbabies, Traegan, Braxtin, and Carson Heater, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.
Along with her parents, Kim is preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Rowh and step-father, Frank Hochadel.
Kim’s request for cremation has been honored and a Celebration of her Life will be conducted later in 2025.
