It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Leica Ellen Goodrich, 56, of Calhoun County, WV. Leica went to be with the Lord on April 18, 2025, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 8, 1968 in Grantsville, WV to Flossie McDonald and the late Bobby Nicholson.
Leica was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, and loving grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Paul Richard Goodrich Jr, her daughters, Amber (Kennith) Siers and Krista Goodrich, her son, Paul “Bub” Goodrich III, and grandchildren, Cameron, Kendall, Kian, Caylee, Hunter, Kierra, Harley, and Owen. She is also survived by her brothers, Tommy, Shannon, and Nick Nicholson. Leica was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Nicholson, her sister, Roberta Lamp, and her mother and father in law, Charlotte and Paul Goodrich Sr.
Leica was loved by all that knew her. She was always kind and never wavered from the gentle spirit she was blessed with. She battled each tribulation with grace. She was a true testimony that God answers prayers as he brought her through so much in her life. She will always be remembered for her dedication and love for her family. She will be sorely missed.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Grantsville, WV, 26147, on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., with Rev. Roger Carter officiating.
