Linda Lea Minnich Obituary

Linda Lea Minnich, 77 of Glenville, WV; (formerly of Charleston, WV) departed this earthly life suddenly in the morning hours of Wednesday, November 26, 2025 following a sudden illness.

She was born June 9, 1948 in Weston, WV; daughter of the late Jacob and Jessie (Bush) Minnich.

Linda is a graduate of Glenville High School, class of 1965. She is also a graduate of Washington University with a Masters’ Degree in Virology and Microbiology. During her career, Linda spent time working for Washington University, The University of Arizona, and the Charleston Area Medical Center in Charleston, WV.

In her spare time, Linda enjoyed caring for her dogs, Cici and Heidi, spending time with family and friends. She was a devoted dog lover, who dedicated herself to rescuing animals.

Left to cherish her memory is a sister, Ann Minnich of Glenville, WV; brother-in-law, Joe Dennison of Glenville, 2 nieces, Jessica Minnich of Prince Frederick, MD; and Jill Walton of Denver, CO; and 5 nephews, David Dennison (Erica) of Glenville, Jacob Dennison (Victoria) of Parkersburg, WV; and Samuel Dennison (Chelsie) of Glenville, Jack Walton of PA; and Gary Walton of Cox’s Mills, WV.

Also surviving are numerous great- nieces, nephews, cousins, and many other wonderful family and friends.

Along with her parents (Jacob and Jessie), Linda is preceded in death by 2 sisters, Marilyn Dennison and Edna Walton.

Linda’s request for cremation has been honored and private family burial will take place later in December. A celebration of her life will be conducted later in 2026.
