LKADC’s Business Enhancement-Incubator to Host Open House

The Little Kanawha Area Development Corporation, in partnership with the 1982 Foundation and USDA, will celebrate the grand opening of its business enhancement-incubator program, The BEI Zone, on May 31, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

Located in the 1982 Foundation building at 354 Main Street, Grantsville, WV, it is a place for entrepreneurs, small business owners, self-employed professionals, andstudents to work on their ideas, collaborate and network. It offers benefits such astechnology use, temporary space to spread out and complete a project, free faxing, nominal cost printing services, collaborating, and more.  This project was madepossible with grant funding from USDA.  Ryan Thorn, State Director of USDA,who plans to attend the event, states that “They[USDA] are advocates for, investors in, and partners to rural communities and the people, businesses, organizations and local governments that make up those communities.”  The BEI Zone’s goal is also to advocate, invest and partner to bring much needed resources into our communities and we invite the public to come and share the vision. The grand opening will include tours of the facility, refreshments and door prizes will be offered to celebrate the opening.
