Roane County resident Courtney Williams found a small box of old letters at the intersection of Market St and Front Street in Spencer in early January. The letters are from 1903 as well as 1911-1918. Most of them are correspondence from a Kenna Lester and Margaret Miller (who became Mrs. Kenna Lester).
Ms. Williams said that the couple lived in Pink, WV.
She would love to get these letters back to their rightful owner saying that “If I lost something like this of my family history I would be devastated.”

Lester letters. The Lester I knew was Gretchen. She passed but there’s an article in hur herald about her that mentions Kenna he was in Legislation. This article was where Gretchen passed. Gretchen has two daughters
