Maddison E. McCumbers Receives National Honor

Calhoun county high school student recognized for superior academic achievement by the National Society of High School Scholars

The National Society of High school scholars today announced student Madison E Macomber is from Oma, West Virginia, has been selected to become a member of the esteemed organization. This society recognizes top scholars who have demonstrated outstanding leadership, scholarship, and community commitment. The announcement was made by NSHSS cofounder and president James W. Lewis.

β€œ on behalf of NSHSS and our cofounder Claes Noble, a member of the family that established the noble prizes, I am honored to recognize the hard work, passion, and commitment that Madison has demonstrated to achieve this exceptional level of academic excellence,” said Lewis. β€œ Madison is now a member of a unique community of scholars, a community that represents our very best hope for the future.”
