Marilyn Irene Herron, 83, of Creston, WV, went to be with the Lord at 1:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 3, 2024.
She was a wonderful wife and mother. She was born November 12, 1940, in Mannington, WV, a daughter of the late Renzo Jesse and Grace Criss Hayes. She married Hie L. Herron on May 25, 1960, in the church she grew up in.
She is survived by her husband of 63 years Hie Lee Herron, their three children, Phyllis Darlene Baldwin (Bobby), Rhonda Lee Howard (Jim), and Brian Hie Herron, three grandchildren, Ashley Watson (Ryan), Brook Knight (Jake), and Skylar Herron, two great-grandchildren, Rory Renzo Watson and Adaline Karen Grace Watson.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her older brother, James Renzo Hayes (Virginia).
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV, on Friday, February 9, 2024, at 1:00 p.m., with Pastor Clark Samples officiating.
