Martha Ash, 66, of. Parkersburg, WV, formerly of Calhoun County, beloved mother, partner, and friend, passed away on March 1, 2025, in CAMC.
Martha was born on April 12, 1958, to Ernest Ash and Hilda Lucille Bunner in Fairmont, West Virginia. She was the loving partner of Ed Vandal and together they had seven children: Christina Lucille Hannah, Virginia Rose Vandal, Opal May Jones, Ernest Bill “Willie” Vandal, Linda Lou Moss, William Edward Kent “JR” Vandal, and Jimmy Jack..
Martha was a devoted mother and grandmother of twenty-seven grandchildren and great grand childern, always putting her family first. She had a special bond with each of her children and cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.
Martha will be remembered for her infectious laughter, her delicious home-cooked meals, and her kind and generous spirit. She brought joy and love to all who knew her and will be deeply missed.
Although Martha has left this world, her memory will live on in the hearts of those who loved her. Rest in peace, dear Martha.
A funeral service will be held at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 107 Market St., Grantsville, WV 26147, on Monday, March 10, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
