Local resident Craig Gherke took this video on Monday, August 7th, 2023, just off of Garfield Avenue on the side streets adjacent to Park center in Parkersburg, WV. According to reports in that area, Parkersburg Police Department responded to the flooding, diverting traffic from Ohio Avenue to the Gabrielle’s parking lot on Park Center Drive over to Garfield Avenue before rejoining at the Memorial Bridge intersection at Ohio Avenue. Several local streets were closed due to high water from the severe storms that traveled across the State yesterday
