The Mt. Zion Public Service District was the greater topic of conversation at Monday’s Calhoun Commission Meeting with Board Members Ari White, Robin Hughes and Anita West in attendance as well as, Iona Rhodes – Office Manager and Trenton Cunningham – Operator.
During that meeting the Commission removed Anita West from the Mt. Zion PSD Board following an executive session. On Tuesday, long time operator of the Mt. Zion System, Jeremy Westfall and Iona Rhodes, Office Manager abruptly handed in resignations citing the following reasons for their departure:
With the O&M agreement between the Town of Grantsville, Mt. Zion PSD and the Pleasant Hill PSD, it is unknown what the effect of this loss will be. The Calhoun Commission has invested a great deal of time in trying to repair not only the water systems but the relationships of the systems as they work toward hiring a Manager for the system as a whole.
Friday’s meeting of the Mt. Zion PSD has several serious items of discussion on their agenda.
