Norma Faye White, 87, of Mt. Zion, WV, passed away peacefully on October 15, 2025, at Miletree Center, Spencer, WV.
She was born in Boone County, WV on October 29, 1937, to the late Arnold Price and Lillian Chittum Hill.
Norma was united in marriage on March 7, 1955, to her husband of 70 years, Willard James White, who preceded her in death.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Frank R. White; granddaughter, Stepheny Jo White; brothers, Jack Price and Richard Price; half-sisters, Brenda Downey and Kay Stalker; and half-brother, Mike Hill.
Norma is survived by her children; son, James (Betty) White; and daughter, Chrystal (Michael) Reip; grandson Thaddeus White; granddaughter Hannah Johnson; daughter-in-law Connie White; 5 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother Arnold Price; and half-sister, Charlene Hill Harris. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Norma was an exceptional quilter, having won many awards and being featured in Better Homes and Gardens magazine. She was an excellent cook and homemaker and loved to share her delicious recipes with friends and family.
A graveside service will be conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, WV, and be held at 1:00 p.m., on October 20, 2025, at Danville Memorial Park, 439 Phipps Avenue, Danville, WV 25053.
