The North Star Fall Child Crimes Conference 2024 will start today and run through Wednesday late afternoon at the Parkersburg Art Center. 112 people have registered from every corner of West Virginia.
On Thursday, from 10-2, the West Virginia Child Advocacy Network (WVCAN) will hold its state board meeting in Parkersburg. It will be held at the office of attorney Justin Raber with a tour of North Star slated for 12:30. North Star CAC will host a dinner at Wine Down on Market on Tuesday evening at 6 p.m., paid for by WVCAN. The WVCAN board, North Star board, local law makers and funders of North Star will be in attendance.
