Now is Not the Time to Stop Paying Attention

As the Democratic Party searches to determine why they’ve lost the support of the Nation, as well as being 20 Million dollars in the hole in their attempt to defeat Donald Trump and other Republican leaders across the Nation, according to statistics from the Friday, November 8, 2024 Glen Beck show on Blaze News, the liberal side of America has lost touch with their neighbors, even in rural America. Of those surveyed regarding the following questions, those on the progressive side, although of the lesser number, push an agenda that their neighbors do not.

  • 90% of White American conservatives agree
  • 73% of Hispanic Americans agree
  • 60% of Black American’s agree
  • 30% of White American progressives agree
  • 87% of White American Conservatives agree
  • 60% of Hispanic Americans agree
  • 41% of Black Americans agree
  • 22% of White American progressives agree
  • 25% of White American Conservatives agree
  • 39% of Hispanic Americans agree
  • 61% of Black Americans agree
  • 76% of White American Progressives agree
  • 98% of White American Conservatives Agree
  • 50% of Hispanic Americans agree

Every county in the State of West Virginia voted collectively red. Our own Calhoun County (As of October 15th, 2024) is 37.7% Republican while 29.5% are Democrat. Leaving the remaining 32.7% voting in one of the four remaining parties (Mountain, Libertarian, No Party or Other). In 2016 Calhoun Democrats carried 56.6% of the registered voters, with Republicans carrying only 21.4%.

As a Christian Conservative, my greatest concern, is those who pretend to be a conservative but are known for their liberal view points or lack of transparency with the people, must be held accountable by those of us who believe America is the greatest Nation. That hard work, not nepotism, is how America has become the greatest Nation. The vast majority of us are not racist, and resent being accused of it. As for the border, it’s not an option for us to not lock the doors of our house if we want to be safe and kick out illegals.

Calhoun may be far away from the border, but we’re not too far away from the years of oppressive leaders who were satisfied keeping us poor and humble.

Now is not the time, to stop paying attention.
