Next Rt33W LIVE Event:
Saturday, November 9, 2024 – Spencer, WV at The Armory, 7:00PM bell-time
1) THE APPROXIMATELY 20-PERSON “RURAL RUMBLE FOR THE MOUNTAIN PASS MEDAL” OVER-THE-TOP-ROPE ELIMINATION BATTLE ROYAL FOR AN ANYTIME FUTURE TITLE SHOT was won by “DragonHeart” Jim Finley in 11:44.
The battle consisted of “Mr. 5-Star” Gary Gandy, “The Unwilting” Tatiana, and other Rt33W regulars who would be competing again later in their scheduled matches plus many of the attendees of longtime “Ring Of Honor” star Cheeseburger’s training seminar held earlier that afternoon at The Armory. Eventual winner “DragonHeart” would emerge from the entrance curtain a minute or so after the start and proceed into the melee in a desperate search for his now estranged former Rt33W tag-team championship partner “Jagermeister”. The petite Tatiana made Rt33W history as the first female ever to enter the “Rural Rumble” and, when she proceeded to outlast almost all of the other male competitors as the second to the last grappler to be eliminated, it proved “The Show Pony” Reese Ramone’s late decision to back out of her scheduled bout with her a wise one. Rt33W Open Weight champion Gorgeous Morgan Taylor would sneak out to help with the elimination of one of his top contenders Jeffrey John. Following Tatiana’s ouster, “DragonHeart” would make short work of the other remaining contestant Nick Hamrick to get the duke and the “Mountain Pass Medal”.
2) John D Crazy Hillbilly pinned “The Man With Wrestling’s Finest Handlebar Moustache” George LaFleur in 8:37 after flooring his foe via an upraised boot to the face followed up soon with a 303-pound elbow-drop.
3) “The Babushka Baron” Jeffrey John pinned “The Mór Of Irish Strong Style” Riley Rose in 11:07.
After Rose had misconnected with an attempted “450°” splash-press, John would springboard backward from a turnbuckle to jolt his rising foe via a “diamond cutter” followed by an uppercut forearm to cop the victory cover.
4) “OPEN CHALLENGE” MATCH
Longtime “Ring Of Honor” star “The World Famous CB” Cheeseburger pinned “Handsome” Nick Hamrick (with A. Dick Vickers) in 10:22.
Special guest Cheeseburger had not originally been scheduled to compete, but he would inform the crowd that he was hungry for a match and proceeded to make the “open challenge”. Vickers would soon emerge with a house mic and a long diatribe to finally bring out his man Hamrick. Eventually Vickers at ringside would produce a foreign-object but, before he could provide it to his charge, the suddenly arriving Tatiana would snatch it away from his blindside. A short time later Cheeseburger would nail the rebounding Hamrick with a devastating “palm strike” to next score the winning three-count.
5) IMPROMPTU MATCH FOR THE Rt33W TAG-TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
Champions “Dumb Ways To Die” (“The Leviathan” Michael Anthony & “The Modern Day Frankenstein” Hero Napier) defeated Party Ghoul & “The Brightest Flame In The Business” – “DragonHeart” Jim Finley (Anthony pinned DragonHeart) in 9:58 to retain their title.
Ring announcer Hank Hudson had just begun the announcements for the “Open Weight” title bout main-event when the music of Dumb Ways to Die hit with Anthony soon snatching away the house mic to proclaim that they were the main-event. In recent social media posts, “The Boss Lady” of Rt33W had admitted her frustration in trying her best to find any team willing to face these two monsters, but Anthony still proceeded to talk bigtime smack about her. She would soon confront him face-to-face, but the man at least three times her body weight would force her back against a turnbuckle and cock back his fist about ready to strike when the sound of DragonHeart’s music re-directed his attention.
DragonHeart quickly informed Dumb Ways to Die that he was cashing in the “Mountain Pass Medal” to challenge with the female Party Ghoul for the tag-team title. Eventually “DragonHeart” would have Napier trapped in a “dragon sleeper” and appear enroute to victory when his estranged former tag-team championship partner “Jagermeister” appeared in a rant against him on the video screen. “DragonHeart” at this point completely lost focus and exited the ring to confront the video screen leaving his partner alone for a two-on-one beatdown. He would finally return to the squared-circle to be lifted by Anthony simultaneously with Ghoul for an amazing one-man, two-person body slam with “DragonHeart” taking the most painful impact at the bottom of the landing. Ghoul would roll from the ring in agony as Anthony was delivering his “coup de grace” – a devastating 300-plus pound spinning powerslam press on “DragonHeart” for the title-retaining three-count.
Afterward the focus of “DragonHeart” was still on his now enemy “Jagermeister” whom on the house mic he challenged to a bout on the November 9th next Rt33W live event.
6) MAIN-EVENT/Rt33W OPEN WEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP MATCH
Champion “The Notorious GMT” Gorgeous Morgan Taylor pinned “The Leader Of The Grayson Nation” Tyler Grayson in 11:54 to retain his title.
Grayson would eventually mount a turnbuckle in a prelude to one of his big top-rope moves, but GMT would manipulate the next section of ring ropes to instead cause him to crotch himself onto the top turnbuckle support.
GMT would follow up with a “draping D.D.T.” to cop the title-retaining cover. However, when Taylor immediately afterward went out to ringside to procure a chair to continue the beating, “Mr. 5-Star” Gary Gandy emerged to chase him out and via a house mic proceeded to praise the defeated challenger Grayson and dress down big time the actions of the champion.
