Perry Siers Obituary

Perry Thomas Siers, 74, Minnora, West Virginia, passed away, peacefully, surrounded by his nieces and nephews at Genesis of Marmet on April 27, 2025.

Tom was born on October 2, 1950, In Kanawha County to the late Freda DeWeese Siers and Leon Siers

He was employed by Spencer livestock market and did factory work in North Carolina.

Tom had a passion for horses trading and hunting. He enjoyed hunting with his brothers and nephews.

Tom spent the latter part of his life living in Clay County with his niece Judy Taylor, which cared for him and spent many days along with her brother Scott Siers, Playing cards and spending countless hours caring for entertaining and annoying Tom.

Thomas survived by one sister Ruth (Jerry) Cottrell of Stinson, West Virginia one sister-in-law Carol Siers of Milo, West Virginia, and one brother-in-law Darrell McCune Of Ohio.

Tom was proceeded in death by sisters Zanna Mae Hoover (Jake), Mavis Leon Hoover (Hub), Moina Gladys Moss (Phil), Sandra Annalee Walker (Richard), Betty Jo Junk(Gil), Penny Lynn McCune (Darrell). Brothers Donald Ray Siers (Jean), Kenneth Elmer Siers(Carol), Forest Rector Siers (Sharon).

A funeral service will be held by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., 1440 Arnoldsburg Rd., Arnoldsburg, WV 25234, on Saturday, May 3,2025, at 1:00 p.m., with Dr. Toby Wagner officiating. TERMS: FOUR THOUSAND 00/100 ($4,000.00) in cash and/or certified funds made payable to Joel Baker Law, PLLC, to be deposited at the time of the sale, with the remaining balance due and payable within thirty (30) days of the sale. Certified funds must be presented to the Trustee for inspection at start if sale in order to be qualified to bid.
The referenced properties will be conveyed without covenants of warranty, and subject to all covenants, restrictions, easements, rights of way, and reservations which may be a matter of record in the aforesaid Clerk’s Office or visible upon the ground, all prior liens and encumbrances, including, without limitation, liens for real estate taxes, incinerator, sanitary, or sewer charges.
