This is a family favorite and the easiest cobbler you’ll ever prepare. But don’t mistaken the ease for lack of taste! It’s likely you’ll add this recipe as a “go-to” for family dinners and reunions.
Easy Fruit Cobbler
Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter
- 2 cups self rising flour
- 2 cups milk
- 2 cups sugar
- Cinnamon and Sugar for sprinkling
- 2 cups of blueberries or your favorite fruit. Peaches are amazing!
INSTRUCTIONS
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F, Rinse the berries and set aside.
- Melt 1 stick of butter and pour into a 9×13 baking pan
- In a mixing bowl add 2 cups self rising flour, 2 cup sugar, and 2 cups milk. Whisk till completely mixed and smooth.
- Stir in blueberries (fruit)
- Pour the mixed cobbler batter into the baking pan on top of the butter. (Do not stir) Sprinkle the cinnamon and coarse sugar on top and place it in the preheated oven.
- Bake for 50-55 minutes till golden brown. Serve with a dollop of fresh whipped cream or ice-cream or just as-is.
