Richard Arron Talley, 56, of Orma, WV, was called to his heavenly home in July of 2024.
Richard’s passing was unexpected, but a true loss for all. An avid hunter and fisher, he loved to be outdoors enjoying God’s beautiful creation.
Richard’s true joy in life came from spending time with family, specifically his grandchildren, Danica, Braidyn, Seanna, Raelyn, Braxton, & Walker, who will cherish the times they had with their papaw.
He was born on February 1st, 1968, the son of William and the late Goldie Gay Cottrell Rush. In addition to his mother, he is preceded in death by his brother William Robert Rush, Jr.
His memory will live on through his children, Brooklynn (Caden) Arnold, Curtis Talley, step children Deidre Gumm, Derek Brannon, who he shared with their mother, Pat Talley, his daughter Samantha (Randy) Lloyd and granddaughter’s Heidi & Emma.
As well as his sister Geleana (Billy) Collins & his nephews Timmy (Jenna) Murphy, Cody & Coltin Collins, Sister Glenda Talley, niece Melissa (Chuy) Arellano, nephews; Jeremy Lopez, Dustin Adkins, Dillon Adkins, and Dalton Tabor. And many great nieces & nephews.
He was a beloved father, grandpa, son & brother. He was truly a friend to all, and loved by many.
A graveside service will be conducted by Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Arnoldsburg, WV, at Minnora Cemetery on July 26th, 2024, at 2:00 pm, with Pastor Richie Propst officiating. Online condolences may be expressed at www.stumpfuneralhomes.com
