Tiffany Arthur was able to phone in her own accident to 911, even being locked into her seat belt and tilted into a steep ditch along West Little Kanawha Highway around the 11610 block. Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched at 914 a.m. as well as the WV State Police and Westfall’s Wrecker service.

Miss Arthur’s Chevrolet Tahoe was likely pulled into the ditch by the snow turned sludge on the highway. After being unable to free herself from a locked seat belt, Sgt. David Moore manage to free her before the Fire Department had made it on scene. She received no injuries.
