Foster Allen Ray, a 72 year old resident of Gandeeville, was sentenced to two years in prison and three years supervised release for being a felon in possession of a firearm. The sentence came after Ray was found guilty of shooting a loaded Savage Model 99 300 caliber level action rifle from over 100 feet away at two individuals inside a truck trapped on his property to ”scare them.” The bullet lodged inside the truck but did not hit the driver or the passenger.
