Three Roane County agencies teamed up for a good cause in a fund raising tournament with proceeds going to the Roane County Animal Shelter. Roane General Hospital, Roane County EMS and Roane County Family Health Care played a double elimination tournament in nearly 100 degree temperatures on Saturday, June 25th.
With the exception of a few, most players confessed to several years having passed since their last opportunity to play ball, but that didn’t stop several out of the park hits, competitive playing and great sportsmanship.
