Rose Lena Albanese Starcher, 86, of Grantsville, WV, went to be with her beloved husband on August 25, 2024.
She was born in Albany, NY, on March 12, 1938, a daughter of the late Frederick Joseph and Frida Ruth Bower Albanese.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by husband James Charles Starcher; two sisters, Marie Whytsell and Sally Albanese;n and two brothers, Frederick (Skippy) Albanese and Anthony (Tony) Albanese.
She is survived by one sister, Beverly Coil of Alabama; one sister-in-law, Doris Dunlap (Clarence) of Michigan; one brother-in-law, Geordie Starcher (Sue) of Ohio; a special niece, Rose Gibson (Charlie); nephews, Rick Sampson (Nannette) and Bill Sampson (Tiny); special great-niece, Chasity Garrett; special great-nephew, Avery Starcher, and many more nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
She enjoyed gardening and showing horses with her husband.
