In a criminal complaint filed by Sheriff Graham Knight on February 20th, 2024, Sheriff Knight stated that on or about Febuary 7, 2024, Shirley Carroll Rush did knowingly and intentionally, enter without permission the private
property of Monty Arnold located at 114 Roberts Lane, Arnoldsburg WV 25234 parcel 21-32. The aforementioned property is posted and marked.
Mr. Arnold owns several game cameras and has them placed on his property. During the investigation cameras belonging to Mr. Arnold were recovered on the property of 14 Roberts Lane Arnoldsburg, WV that were unlawfully destroyed and defaced beyond repair. Of the recovered cameras, several show Shirley Rush as the last photograph taken before the destruction of the cameras at different locations around the property belonging to Mr. Arnold. Shirley Carroll Rush is believed to be the responsible persons for the unlawful trespassing and destruction of property based on facts discovered during this investigation was identified by the complaintant and Deputy Sheriffs of the Calhoun County Sheriff’s Department.
Mr. Rush was convicted on May 9th, 2024 and is being held in the WV Central Regional Jail for Destruction of Property.
