Following a request for a recount by the Calhoun County Board of Education when the School levy lost by just a few votes on November 5th, 2024, a recount completed today found the final count 1362 for the Levy and 1361 against.
With the narrow margin of one vote, the Calhoun County School Levy has finally passed after decades of election attempts and failures to see the School Levy through.
