Shirley Ann Taylor, 77, of Big Bend, WV, went to her heavenly home on Sunday, April 14, 2024 in Parkersburg.
She was the daughter of the late Harley C. Jones and Rhoda B. Richards Jones.
She is survived by her husband of 59 years, Douglas Taylor. A daughter, Gina M (Chuck) Hicks, and a son, Robert D. Taylor, both of Big Bend, WV; grandchildren, Matthew and Jeremy Fowler, Chelsea (Jerome) Smith, Caden Hicks, and Owen Taylor; two great grandchildren, Kaylee and Stevie Fowler; a sister, Wanda Dye and a brother, Russell (Vicki) Jones.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Deborah Fowler, a sister, Betty Jenkins, and a brother, Darl Jones. Two half brothers, Donald and William Welch, and a half sister, Carol Richey.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 19, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at Stump Funeral Home & Cremation, Inc., Grantsville, with Rev. Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 12:00-2:00 p.m. Interment will be held at Taylor Cemetery on Yellow Creek Road.
