In a Complaint filed in the Magistrate Court of Calhoun County, Sheriff Graham Knight reported that he had been notified on August 8, 2023 at approximately 3:24 p.m. of the unlawful entry of Bramblewood Apartments by Shelia Starcher.
David Weaver, Manager of Bramblewood Village located at 690 Vaughn Road, Grantsville, WV, notified dispatch that he had seen Shelia Starcher in Apartment 22. Starcher had previously been removed from that same apartment due to an unlawful occupation order granted by Calhoun Magistrate Court.
Knight followed up on the report, going to the Apartment where Weaver gave him a key for entry. Upon entering the apartment he found Shelia Starcher there at approximately 4:02 p.m. where he placed her under arrest for the felony “Entering without Breaking. Starcher informed the Sheriff that she had made a copy of her key knowing she had been told she was not permitted back in.
Shelia Starcher is currently in the WV Virginia Central Regional Jail with a bond of $5,000 cash/surety.
