The Cabot Recycling Station is once again hosting and encouraging a River clean up Day on Saturday, July 22, 2023. Volunteers and John Boats needed. The crews will be starting at River Street at Nu Look at 8:30 a.m. Please share and spread the word. For information contact Brenda Bush.
A collaboration between Cabot Station Recycling Center, WVDEP-REAP and community volunteers on Saturday, June 10th, 2023 netted 300 tires from the Little Kanawha River . At around 5 p.m. the river had reported to be crested in Glenville at 26.45 feet. Several streets along the river in Glenville had water in the road way, and multiple roads were closed off in Calhoun, but have since began receding.
