MOUNTAINEER FOOD BANK VISITS SUMMER BOOST STUDENTS

Crystal Toney The Mountaineer Food Bank made another visit today with some delicious fresh produce to hand-out to students attending SummerBoost.  The students listened to a short presentation and then were given the l opportunity to pick-up some fresh produce to take home and share with their families.  The students loved it!

Stem Camp Making Quite an “Impression” on Youth

The learning didn’t end when the school year did! Lori Strange-Paylor, Calhoun County School Teacher, spent last week working with students in STEM Camp to create their very own fossils with clay.  The campers have been learning to identify dinosaur bones and plant fossils during summer camp at Calhoun Middle High School.
