Teresa “Terry” Putnam, 79, of Glenville, WV; departed this earthly life in the early morning hours of Monday, September 1, 2025 at the residence of her loving daughter, following an extended illness.
She born March 23, 1946 in Fairmont, WV; daughter of the late Emilio and Gladys (Thorne) Megna.
Terry is a graduate of Sand Fork High School, class of 1964. She spent most of her working life as a waitress in and around the Glenville area for many years. In her spare time, Terry enjoyed gardening, cooking, spending time with family and friends, spoiling her grandkids and great-grandkids, and she was a bigtime WVU fan.
Surviving is her loving daughter, Kelly Summers of Glenville, a brother, Joey Megna (June Ann) of Worthington, WV; 2 grandsons, Brandon Summers and Bradley Summers (Nicole), and 3 great-grandchildren, Emberlynn, Lainey, and Maycie Summers.
Along with her parents (Emilio and Gladys), Terry is preceded in death by a sister, Diane Kimble and an infant sister, Antoinette Megna.
Terry’s request for cremation has been honored and a celebration of her life will be conducted at a later date.
