The updated rendering above shows in great detail the coming attractions of the Calhoun Community Center. Piece by piece, History and the Future are coming together as the 1982 Foundation adds new amenities and restores the historical aspect of the old Calhoun High School. A place where old memories lie and new memories are about to be made.
A new construction of a 20’x30’ pavilion will be the perfect meeting, picnic or other venue for the community to gather.
On the otherside of the building, the gymnasium continues to take shape as the roof has been redone and now the window replacement has begun.
It is hoped that much of the construction on these current projects will be moving along as the 1982 Foundation begins preparing for their July 2nd Concert and family event in cooperation with WVRC Radio in Spencer, WV.
