The 62 Annual Mt. Zion Ox Roast was held at the Mt. Zion Community Park on Saturday, August 27th. The annual event didn’t disappoint with juicy roast beef sandwiches and all the homemade fixin’s and garden goodness. The very well attended event was a prime place for county candidates to meet the voters and allow them to get to know them
Three County Candidates, Jim Hughes, Jacob McCumbers and Craig Arthur put their tasting talents to work by judging the Pie Contest and the items in the Country Fair. All three took those jobs VERY serious as the pondered their picking and made the final decisions as a team.
