After reading “Grace For President,” the second grade class at Pleasant Hill Elementary decided they would like to have a class President. So we held a primary election to select our candidates. Emma Frederick and Mackenzie Tingler were chosen. Today these young ladies gave speeches to their classmates. They officially began their campaigns. They have also learned about the electoral college and the other students have selected the states they will cast their electoral votes for. The class presidential election will be held In 2 weeks. Stay tuned for more updates as we follow this campaign trail!
