The Little Kanawha has Crested in Glenville and is likely Cresting in Grantsville

At around 5 p.m. the river had reported to be crested in Glenville at 26.45 feet. Several streets along the river in Glenville had water in the road way, and multiple roads were closed off in Calhoun, but have since began receding.

The Wayne Underwood practice field was underwater and the steps were covered. Grantsville Fire Department gauges the road on Russett by the steps ‘ on the practice field. When the water reaches the second step from the top, it is supposedly over Russett Road on Route 7
The river pump tower at the Charles A. Stevens Water plant in Grantsville is 50 feet tall with a few feet in the ground beneath the water. But even with that you can understand the high depth of the water from this photo.
