A noontime accident in the 7000 block of Arnoldsburg Road on Thursday, May 30th, 2024 left two injured and removed from the scene by a Minnie Hamilton Emergency Services Ambulance. The degree of injuries are unknown.
It was reported that the car hit the guardrail in a few different locations sending it onto its top and scattering debris across the road and into a nearby creek.
Calhoun WV Department of highway workers were in the vicinity and were able to flag traffic on the accident scene for Sheriff Graham Knight. Arnoldsburg Fire Deparment was dispatched without response.
The driver of the car was Kayla Workman who was said to have been driving home from work and wasn’t feeling well causing her to have possibly fallen asleep. The accident was ruled no fault.
