At around 7:30 a.m. this morning a Dollar General Store tractor and trailer attempted to turn around in the area of Leafbank Road west of Grantsville, when the landing gear on the trailer buried itself in the pavement of the highway. Traffic is blocked until a wrecker arrives from Gilmer County that can accommodate the large truck.
Calhoun Sheriff Graham Knight was on scene to flag until the Grantsville Volunteer Fire Department arrived to relieve them for their Circuit Court duties…
