The West Virginia Legislature is now considering Senate Bill 198, prohibiting the teaching of critical race theory and divisive acts such as one race or sex being superior to another, or that our Nation is fundamentally racist or sexist. A second Senate Bill under consideration is Bill 280 that would allow the teaching of intelligent design as an option for belief of how the universe came to exist.
The language underlined in the proposed bills posted below will be what is added to the current legislation.
