At a Ceremony at the Capitol Market in Charleston, West Virginia on Wednesday, September 11th, the USDA Rural Business Development Grant funding was awarded to The 1982 Foundation in the amount of $95,289.
This funding will be used to purchase and install appliances and equipment in the 3 kitchens located on the Avalon Campus (Formerly Calhoun High School) in Grantsville. Those areas of installation will be the restaurant, community kitchen and learning kitchen.
The 1982 Foundation were 1 of 8 awards of this grant across the State of West Virginia.
