Following a fire at Bramblewood (see earlier story) Darrin Vaughan was arrested by Trp. Brian Young and arraigned before Magistrate Rick Postalwait on the charge of Arson 1st Degree. His bond was set at $150,000. He now awaits a preliminary hearing in Calhoun Magistrate Court.

Early Morning Crash on Mt. Zion
Slick roads proved to be the undoing of an early morning commute for Jason King. Heading north on Route 16 he lost control of his Ford Escape coming into a snow covered turn. The vehicle ended up on its side in the ditch but no injuries were incurred.
