I’m Wesley Self, and I’m running for West Virginia Secretary of State.
I’m excited to announce my candidacy for West Virginia Secretary of State! The election for this prestigious office isn’t until 2024, but I’m confident that this extra time will allow me to garner the support I need to win! It has always been my dream to serve the people of Wild and Wonderful West Virginia!
My agenda is a simple one, and one based on the needs of the ordinary West Virginian.
1. Incorporating the education of our basic rights, including the rights of West Virginians as equal voters in each election, into schools and focusing on improving voter awareness of these rights across the state.
2. Improving our infrastructure as it relates to elections and making them more secure for every West Virginian. This includes rigorous inspections and oversight of voting machines and ballot drop off locations.
3. And, making sure that each West Virginian has a voice in every single election, be they at the federal, state, or county levels, by removing the elites ability to manipulate elections and public relations through mass movements of money and resources to preferred candidates and agendas.
By achieving these core objectives, we can free West Virginia from the elite that control our lives and help make West Virginia a Wild and Wonderful place for all Americans!
