PARKERSBURG — The West Virginia Symphony Orchestra Parkersburg will continue its 2023-24 season with Music Director Maurice Cohn with “American Voices” on Nov. 10 in Parkersburg.
The concert will be 2:30 p.m. Nov. 10 at Blennerhassett School in Parkersburg.
Hosted by the West Virginia Symphony Orchestra of Parkersburg, tickets for the concert start at $25 for adults and are available at wvsop.org, at the door, or by calling 888-699-8767 (MYWVSOP). Student tickets are free.
Cohn will lead the orchestra through a program featuring pieces from American composers Leonard Bernstein, Missy Mazzoli, Aaron Copland, Duke Ellington, and George Gershwin. The WVSO’s own principal clarinet Robert Turizziani highlights the evening as a featured soloist during Copland’s Clarinet Concerto.
