According to the National Weather Service it looks like Santa’s sleigh could be landing in snow in the southern portion of Calhoun but the Northern areas of the County are not expected to receive accumulation. The good news is the mud will likely be frozen from the colder than normal temperatures.

The Little Kanawha has Crested in Glenville and is likely Cresting in Grantsville

At around 5 p.m. the river had reported to be crested in Glenville at 26.45 feet. Several streets along the river in Glenville had water in the road way, and multiple roads were closed off in Calhoun, but have since began receding.
